Over the years Wind Power Transmissions has refocused its activities on the maintenance, repair and retrofit of Gearboxes for Wind Turbines and other large Gearboxes applications.

Wind Power Transmissions was founded in 2001 by Pujol Muntalà SA, the Spanish leading industrial gear units, in order to serve customers in the sector of renewable energies, in all that relates to the transmission of power.

New group of shareholders acquire WPT from Pujol Muntalà in July 2012.
